Terms for using the Cloud Waste Scanner public beta.
These terms cover the public website, free beta downloads, and product evaluation unless a signed agreement says otherwise.
Public beta access
Cloud Waste Scanner is currently distributed free during the public beta so more users can run first scans and provide feedback.
License
Beta users may install and use the product to evaluate local-first cloud waste review and provide feedback. See the public beta license summary.
No payment during beta
No purchase is required for the current public beta. Future paid packaging may be introduced after enough real usage feedback is collected.
Feedback
Feedback may be used to improve provider coverage, setup guidance, reporting, and future packaging. Do not submit cloud credentials, secrets, private keys, or raw scan exports unless support explicitly asks for a sanitized artifact.
Safe use
Cloud Waste Scanner is a decision-support tool. Review findings before cleanup. The user remains responsible for cloud account changes, provider permissions, and internal approvals.
No guaranteed savings
The product helps surface waste signals, but it does not guarantee specific savings, uninterrupted operation, or error-free results.
Restrictions
- No resale, sublicensing, rental, or third-party hosted service use.
- No removal of copyright, license, or attribution notices.
- No use that violates law, cloud provider rules, or security policies.

Use the feedback and support form for product feedback, setup issues, and support questions.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cloud Waste Scanner is provided as-is during the public beta, unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
